## Deliver change up to _10 times faster_

LINQ has helped our partners execute change and transformation projects up to 10 times faster than traditional methods, while generating valuable digital business assets from the very first conversation.

Help your clients quickly and easily understand the impact of a transformation project, before they commit to costly resource allocation and investment. LINQ enables you to create a Digital Twin of their organisation, so decision makers have everything they need to make the right decisions on transformation, change management or continuous improvement projects.

Clients can map out and capture their current operational state, then design future-state models that reflect a desired state of operations. From there, create and explore different change scenarios, assessing the impact each one could have on an organisation.

## Discover how your clients’ business really works

LINQ can model just about any organisational process or function in any industry sector based on four key factors: **People, Processes, Technology and Information**. The model delivers instant insights from simulations to help gain a new understanding of how a business really works, and how changes will impact it.

Use cases typically include process changes, restructures or technology implementations, often all three together. Examples include office administration tasks, recruitment process improvement, procurement system consolidation, process improvements and systems implementation, and systems and teams consolidation before or after an acquisition or merger.

### Deliver certainty to decision makers up to 10x faster

LINQ speeds up discovery for proposed transformation and change projects, saving time, resources and budget, and delivering more certainty for decision makers. It’s easy to use, and delivers tangible outcomes 10x faster than traditional techniques, so your clients can make better business decisions in record time.

## Frequently asked questions from our partners

Why should I become a LINQ partner?

Project success is determined before any work is done. When you first engage with your customer and perform the discovery (understanding what they want to achieve, how that will be realised in their business, what tools they currently use and what tools they think they will need in the future), your focus is on delivering the most value for them and their business.

If this is the way your business works, LINQ will help you deliver those outcomes faster than ever. LINQ’s modelling is ten times faster than traditional techniques because you can capture in real time as you talk with people in the business. Our insights help you to prove the impact of the outcome to your customer, giving them the confidence and certainty that they will get the outcome they are looking for, and speeding up the decision cycle.

Check out our [customer stories](https://thinklikelinq.com/customers/) and join a network of like-minded partners across the world all wanting to achieve the same things for their clients: faster, better outcomes in digital transformation.

How do I become a LINQ partner?

It’s easy. Complete our [partner application form](#apply), and one of our Partner Enablement team will be in touch to arrange a call. While you are waiting, sign up for our [Freemium](https://my.thinklikelinq.com/#/register) edition of LINQ so you can familiarise yourself with LINQ.

What type of organisations partner with you?

You are typically a Management Consultancy, a Managed Service Provider or consultant, or a technology company, with a broad client base in medium to large enterprise organisations, and you’ll have recognised expertise in a preferred industry.

You will know what challenges and opportunities exist for your customers and you will be driven to add value to their organisation. You may be in direct competition with the Tier 1 consultancies and are looking for a competitive advantage where you can apply your domain expertise to win work and create long-term partnerships with your customers.

How does your partner model work?

Currently we’re engaged with partners in New Zealand, Australia and the USA. We have a partner agreement that outlines how the partnership works and the expectations of both parties, including support from LINQ.

You would undertake to train your consultants in LINQ and then implement LINQ as part of your delivery methodology. It’s important to understand that we’re not asking you to sell LINQ, simply to use the platform to deliver outcomes to your customers.

We support each partner with comprehensive training (online, video, manuals), sales enablement materials, referenceability (case studies and so on) and marketing support, collateral and projects such as joint events, webinars and other marketing.

We set up a partner Teams channel for quick comms and you will have access to a wealth of information to help you use LINQ quickly and easily.

Do we still do our own sales?

Yes, you do. We’ll be on hand to help with any solution set-up, projects and questions, but your sales are between you and your customers. The exception is if, at the end of a project, your customer wants to purchase LINQ for itself because it had so much value. They would do that directly with LINQ in New Zealand and become a LINQ client too.

Who are your other partners?

We have several partners in New Zealand, Australia and the USA. [Check them out here](#partner-logos). Some are large services organisations; others are consultants specialising in a certain field or sector.

Are there any fees or charges involved?

No. You can get started for free using the Freemium version of LINQ for your business development work and your client projects. Once you exceed the Freemium limits there is a monthly [consumption-based charge](https://thinklikelinq.com/pricing/), which will need to be paid for any account you have created.

We are out there marketing and selling LINQ’s capabilities, which can create project opportunities for you.

We offer a significant discount on training for partners, another benefit of the programme.

What training is there?

We have a robust training programme which includes detailed [Getting Started with LINQ](https://thinklikelinq.com/resources/) content: a step-by-step guide over five days with videos, manuals and more. We’re on hand by phone, Teams and email for questions, but LINQ is pretty intuitive.

Who are your clients and in what sectors?

Check out our [customer case studies](https://thinklikelinq.com/customers/) and the client logos on our [home page](https://thinklikelinq.com/). In summary, we work predominantly (but not exclusively) within the following sectors: Public Sector, Utilities, Healthcare and Financial Services.

How is LINQ different from Business Process Modelling?

LINQ captures the data and information needed to enable work (actions) to be completed. This often means that we capture effort required outside of the core process. For example, a business process may simply say to accept a quote in the financial system as the next step. The reality is that additional effort is needed to be able to make that determination. You may have to refer to the original specification, talk with your peers, do some calculations in a local spreadsheet, and so on. This may not be captured when you consider the process from a system perspective. As soon as you look from the people’s perspective, you can find all these additional tasks. LINQ helps you to capture these, as the focus is people and how they deliver outcomes. Our customers have described BPM as the black and white view of the business and LINQ as the multi-coloured view.

We have more on this in [Welcome to the Business Case Revolution](https://thinklikelinq.com/uploads/2025/07/Welcome-to-the-Business-Case-Revolution-2025.pdf) (PDF).

How long does it take to learn to use LINQ?

Learning LINQ is quick. We have in-platform training content and lots more help on our YouTube channel. The structure of LINQ is remarkably simple, and the tool has been designed to help the user: you can only connect elements according to our structured language.

Of more relevance are the current skills of the people coming to learn LINQ. If you are used to modelling, if you are a business analyst, if you have been involved in business case creation, or if you understand the concepts around ‘lean’ or ‘supply chain’, you will very quickly understand how to apply LINQ to the knowledge you already have. If you are new to these things, then learning how to think and apply LINQ will take more time, supported by the tool and the LINQ team.

You can find more Getting Started content on [our YouTube channel](https://www.youtube.com/@LINQLtdWellington).

Why did you build LINQ?

Neil, our Founder and CEO, says: “All through my career, I have seen projects fail to deliver the value they should have. I have seen the impact that this has on the people involved. The statistics remain unbelievable in that 70% of change projects fail, set against a global annual budget of USD 880 billion in 2023. Personally, I believe that wasted capital could be spent on solving so many of the challenges we face as a society. LINQ is providing a methodology and tool to resolve project failure. If you create decision intelligence and deliver evidence to decision makers which helps them see the value to be created before committing investment, I believe change will be successful.”

Our work is all about enabling organisations to get the data they need, as fast as possible, so great decisions can be made which support organisations’ change and transformation goals.

What is Neil’s background?

“I did a degree in Mapping Science and Environmental Science and with that went to work for Ordnance Survey, the UK’s National Mapping Agency. That led to working with digital data: both mapping data and the content you use alongside location to deliver insights. I realised that the data was the gold, so enabling it effectively to deliver value was the opportunity.

I moved from Ordnance Survey to Esri, the GIS software vendor. Here I helped organisations to succeed using spatial data in their tools. This cemented my belief in the value of data and information.

I came to New Zealand to work for the Esri Distributor, then for myself, and that eventually led to the development of LINQ in response to challenges we were solving with our customers. LINQ has evolved over the years with that intent: provide evidence to support change and transformation goals, using data and information and the value it creates as the core of our methodology and tool.”

The rest of the team has experience in leading global service organisations, developing world-leading web applications, supply-chain management and planning expertise, and international enterprise sales.

We are all Kiwis, and love living, working and playing in New Zealand.

Is LINQ a New Zealand company?

Yes, and proudly so. We are based in Wellington, but the team covers from Wanaka to Auckland. Development is done here in New Zealand. We have customers and partners in New Zealand, Australia and the USA. There is nothing you can’t do from New Zealand!

Are you using AI?

Yes. We have an [AI Model Builder](https://thinklikelinq.com/ai/) tool in the platform which can help you to generate initial content or to migrate existing content into the LINQ structure. This tool is made available to you when you create a model, and only requires three pieces of information to find relevant content.

Can you help us to get started?

Yes, we can. We have internal consultants who can deliver projects alongside your team. This is often a great way to get started, and to get a win which supports LINQ’s value proposition. We also have a growing number of partners in New Zealand and the USA, and can refer you to them based on the outcomes you need for your project.

We also offer training and can build an extended support agreement for you, which provides ad hoc access to our team to support your modelling and business case development.

How long does it take to capture a model?

LINQ is a faster way to capture content than anything else we have seen or used before. We consistently hear that we are 10 times faster than other approaches. This is a combination of the tool and the methodology. We like to talk to the people who do the work. They know what they do and how long it takes, so we can quickly capture the work and quantify the effort.

As an example, for a recruitment process, from identification of the need for a new role to onboarding the person, the current and future state models were captured in 50 hours. This included current and future state models, and business case content for two immediate projects defining the implementation of Robotic Process Automation to remove 3,500 hours of manual admin from the process.

It depends on how large your process is, so we tend to suggest allocating 40 hours, one working week, for your first use of LINQ, and we see how far you can get with that.
